Framing GLBT Lives Exhibit

tretterlogo largeIllegal and invisible a century ago, the GLBT community has seen remarkable progress in the fight for civil rights and recognition in the United States. This exhibit offers a glimpse into how the community came together to change society and some of the ways Minnesota played a role in organizing and activism.

This exhibit is based in part on materials in the Jean-Nickolaus Tretter Collection in GLBT Studies at the University of Minnesota Libraries. With millions of pages of content about the GLBT experience around the world, we are happy to offer you this tempting morsel of some of the amazing stories in the archive.
